First step
- Buy an Introduction Week ticket for 28 August to 2 September; it includes an ESNcard.
- If the week is sold out or has passed, visit a Sign-Up Day or information point.
- Ask for a buddy if a large introduction event feels like too much for a first step.

- You have just arrived and do not know anyone yet.
- You want a full calendar rather than one narrow activity.
- You would rather meet people in a small introduction group.
- You also need practical help with housing, banking, health, or wellbeing.

ESN Groningen helps incoming and local students build a life in Groningen through social, cultural, practical, and volunteer activities. Its English-language programme combines a large Introduction Week with smaller group experiences, weekly events, trips, a buddy programme, and information about everyday student life.
